Built on Experience and Integrity

I’m an engineer turned home inspector and it’s one of the best career shifts I’ve ever made. From a young age, I was always fascinated by how things work. That curiosity led me to pursue a career in engineering, where I spent years analyzing systems, solving complex problems, and learning the ins and outs of building components and structural mechanics. It was a rewarding experience that sharpened my technical skills and deepened my understanding of how homes are built and maintained.
But despite the satisfaction I found in engineering, something was missing. Most of my work kept me behind a desk or in the field without much interaction with others. I’ve always enjoyed working with people, sharing knowledge, and helping others make sense of the technical. That human connection, the opportunity to make a direct impact on someone’s life, wasn’t a big part of my role as an engineer.
As a home inspector, I’ve found the perfect balance. I still get to apply my technical expertise every day, but now I also get to meet clients face to face, walk them through their homes, and explain things in a way that’s clear and useful. Whether I’m helping a first time homebuyer understand their new investment or providing peace of mind to a seller, I love being part of the process. It’s a career that lets me combine my knowledge with my passion for helping people, and that’s what truly makes it meaningful.
